ME3-4S is the new Erasmus Mundus joint master replacing ME3+, coordinated by IMT Atlantique (France), with its first intake in September 2027. Its predecessor ran across IMT Atlantique (France), Budapest University of Technology and Economics (Hungary), University of Borås (Sweden), Free University of Bozen-Bolzano and University of Trento (Italy), with tracks in renewable energy integration, resource recovery/circular economy and smart cities; the final ME3-4S partner list will be published on its new website. It suits environmental, energy, chemical and mechanical engineering graduates.

IMT Atlantique states that ME3+ no longer exists in its current form and is replaced by the new Erasmus Mundus programme ME3-4S, first intake September 2027; the ME3-4S website (with key dates) is expected from November 2026.
